Use

Stannous Octoate is a catalyst for polyurethane products and room temperature curing silicone rubber. It is easily oxidized to a tetravalent tin compound after foaming as  it is a divalent tin compound. It can act as an antioxidant when left in the foam and has no adverse effect on the foam.
As an epoxy resin catalyst curing agent, stannous octoate has greater catalytic activity.
