Features
Sodium dehydroacetate has a broad spectrum of antibacterial effect. It is not affected by the pH value. In acidic, neutral, alkaline environment have a good antibacterial effect on the mold, yeast. Sodium dehydroacetate ability to inhibit bacteria is particularly strong.
Sodium dehydroacetate has good heat-resistant effect. In the food processing process it will not break down and not evaporate with the steam.

Sodium dehydroacetate is an antimicrobial ingredient as preservative in cosmetics and personal care products. Sodium Dehydroacetate is considered to be an effective antimicrobial and preservative even at very low concentrations, prohibiting the growth of bacterial and fungal microbes.
Sodium dehydroacetate is a helper ingredient that helps to make the products stay nice longer, aka preservative. It works mainly against fungi and has only milder effect against bacteria. It is Ecocert and Cosmos approved, and is popular in natural products.
