Use

As a Plasticizer for Polyamide Resin:

 

• Polyamide resin is known for its high strength and abrasion resistance. However, in certain applications where flexibility is required, such as in some plastic products that need a softer texture, its rigidity can be a drawback. NEO/PTSA acts as a plasticizer by inserting its molecules between the molecular chains of the polyamide resin. This insertion weakens the intermolecular forces among the resin chains, making the resin more prone to deformation and thereby enhancing its flexibility. For example, in the production of flexible polyamide-based films or molded parts that need to have a certain degree of pliability, NEO/PTSA can play a crucial role in achieving the desired physical properties.

As a Plasticizer for Cellulose-based Resins:

 

• Cellulose-based resins are often brittle and hard in their dry state. NEO/PTSA can form favorable interactions with cellulose-based resins. It is able to penetrate into the microscopic structure of cellulose. By doing so, it makes the binding between cellulose molecules relatively looser. It's like adding a "lubricant" between the closely packed "bricks" of cellulose, making the whole structure softer and more elastic, thus improving the plasticity of the cellulose-based resin.
