Use

1. The PPG series shows solubility in various organic solvents like toluene, ethanol, and trichloroethylene. Specifically, PPG200, PPG400, and PPG600 are water - soluble. They exhibit functions including lubrication, solubilization, defoaming, and antistatic characteristics. For instance, PPG - 200 functions as a pigment dispersant, enabling better dispersion of pigments in relevant media.
2. In the realm of cosmetics, PPG400 serves the purposes of an emollient, softener, and lubricant, contributing to the improvement of skin feel and appearance.
3. PPG is applied as an antifoaming agent in coatings and hydraulic fluids. It also plays the role of an antifoaming agent during the processing of synthetic rubbers and latexes. Additionally, it can be utilized as a refrigerant and coolant in heat - transfer fluids, and as a means to improve viscosity.
