- The volatile weight loss is smaller than that of DOP, and the intrinsic viscosity is similar to that of DOP. When used alone, it will be even higher.
- DINP is more suitable for the processing of plastics, showing better viscosity stability. It can be dispersed and foamed without any problems, and the melting temperature is relatively low. As a PVC coating adhesive, it has the lowest initial viscosity and the viscosity change is very small.

Applications in the Plastics Industry
1)Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) Products: It is the main application field of DINP. In the processing of PVC, it can reduce the melting temperature and viscosity of the polymer, increase its fluidity, making the processing easier. At the same time, it endows the products with good flexibility, low-temperature resistance and weather resistance. It is often used in the production of various PVC films, such as agricultural films, packaging films, etc., as well as PVC pipes, profiles, artificial leather and other products.
2)Other Plastics: It can also be used in some other plastic varieties, such as polyvinylidene chloride (PVDC), polystyrene (PS), etc., to improve the processing performance and physical properties of these plastics.
Applications in the Rubber Industry
As a Softener and Plasticizer: DINP can be used in natural rubber and synthetic rubbers, such as styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR), butadiene rubber (BR), neoprene (CR), etc. It can improve the flexibility, plasticity and processing performance of rubber, reduce the hardness and viscosity of rubber, making it easier to mix, shape and vulcanize. At the same time, it can also improve the low-temperature resistance and aging resistance of rubber products.
Applications in the Coatings and Inks Industry
Coatings: As a plasticizer added to coatings, it can improve the flexibility, adhesion and water resistance of coatings.
