Use

2-Imidazolidone is intermediates of fine chemicals.
Used as a formaldehyde trapping agent.
Textile anti wrinkle finishing agent, can use with glyoxal 40%.
It is also used for making resins, plasticizer, paint, adhesives.
On textiles
Cotton products are composed of long chain cellulose. It has much hydrogen bonding space. Destroyed by heat or external forces, they are randomly reassembled. This forms fabric wrinkles. When 2-Imidazolidone and formaldehyde or glyoxal 40% are used together to treat fabrics, they can react with exposed hydroxyl groups. It has anti wrinkle in textiles.
It can also control formaldehyde pungent odor, and suppress formaldehyde release.
Daily chemicals
It is the main component of house formaldehyde scavengers. It is the main component of household formaldehyde scavengers. Can be used as high-performance formaldehyde remover, adhesive formaldehyde remover, floor odor removal care wax, furniture odor removal agent, and car odor removal agent.

2-Imidazolidone is the third generation penicillin material. 

It is an important additive in inkjet printing ink. It takes effect on dispersed pigments, lubrication pipelines. It prevents the ink jet head from drying in the air, prevent nozzle blockage, and improve ink storage stability. It can also improve color contrast and achieve high-quality printing effects
