Use

Triethoxyoctylsilane is a building waterproofing agent and protective agent to form a hydrophobic layer on the surface of the substrate. It can form a hydrophobic and wear-resistant coating on the surfaces of materials such as metals and ceramics, increasing the corrosion resistance and wear resistance of the materials.
Triethoxyoctylsilane is also a dispersant for pigments to provide better dispersibility of the treated pigments.
