Use

Sodium lignosulfonate is a dispersant in cement, concrete, dyes, and pigments. In concrete admixtures, it can reduce the water content while maintaining the workability of the concrete. This improves the strength and durability of the final product.
It is also as a binding agent in animal feed pellets, briquettes, and ceramics.
In construction and mining, sodium lignosulfonate is as a dust suppressant to control dust levels on roads and other surfaces.
Sometimes it has uses in soil conditioning agents and as a dispersant in agrochemical formulations.
